This role will be a key part of our campaign's fundraising efforts, working within the finance department to help support our in-state events program, call time program, and overall fundraising program.Duties and Responsibilities:Supporting the call time programWork closely with the finance director and the call time manager to assist in the scheduling, staffing, and prep for the call time programResearch and prospect potential donorsHelping to fill in and staff candidate call time as neededSupporting the events programWorking with the finance director and in-state team to help coordinate and organize events across the stateWork directly with hosts on planning and executing fundraising eventsManaging event invites, RSVP lists, and donation processing systemsStaffing events across Ohio eventsHelping to prepare memos and other briefing materialsOverseeing the donor thank you programAssisting in operational needs such as compliance and mailOther responsibilities as requiredQualifications:Strong relationship-building and donor management skillsExcellent writing and editing skills as well as attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced, shifting environmentWillingness to learn, share, and collaborate across departmentsWillingness to work long hours and irregular campaign hours, including nights and weekendsPreferred, but not required:Experience in a finance role on a campaign or similar organizationExperience working with NGP and ActBlueAdditional consideration will be given to candidates with Ohio tiesCompensation:Salary: $3,500 - $4,000 per monthBenefits options include: health, dental, visionLeave: Paid time off will be available per campaign policy.Hours: This position's schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and point in the cycle, and is likely to require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle.To apply:Please email your resume and cover letter to with the subject line "Finance Assistant - Your Name."Ohioans for Amy Acton is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment in all its forms.
