Seeking an Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician, the full-time Pharmacy Benefit Verification Specialist will work remotely to investigate and verify patient insurance benefits, ensuring accurate documentation and facilitating medication coverage processes. Key responsibilities: Provide first call resolution to assist healthcare providers and patients with pharmacy inquiries Perform comprehensive benefits verification for pharmacy and medical benefits using electronic resources Document outcomes of benefits reviews in the CPR+ system to support pharmacy operations Required qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; previous experience in pharmacy, medical billing, or benefits verification 1+ years of pharmacy or benefit verification experience Active Pharmacy Technician License/Registration with the Board of Pharmacy Knowledge of pharmacy insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance processes Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills and basic math abilities
