To support a growing specialty oncology pharmacy, the full-time Pharmacy Benefit Verification Specialist will verify patient insurance benefits, manage authorization requests, and ensure accurate patient documentation while working remotely with active Ohio Pharmacy Technician credentials. Key responsibilities Practices first call resolution to assist healthcare providers and patients with pharmacy inquiries Provides timely and accurate responses regarding benefit information to pharmacy operations, providers, and patients Performs comprehensive benefits verification and maintains patient profiles in the CPR+ system Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED; previous experience in pharmacy, medical billing, or benefits verification Active Pharmacy Technician License/Registration with the Board of Pharmacy 1+ years of pharmacy or benefit verification experience Knowledge of pharmacy insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills and basic math abilities
