Ohio Licensed Insurance Collections Specialist

To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Ohio Licensed Insurance Collections Specialist will manage insurance verifications, authorizations, and patient benefit inquiries while working remotely without weekends or evenings. Key responsibilities Meet production and quality benchmarks for insurance verifications and authorizations Maintain a denial and rejection rate of less than 10% by effectively verifying patient benefits Manage assigned schedules to ensure timely verification of insurance authorization requirements and patient demographics Required qualifications High School diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred At least 1 year of related experience in insurance collections or healthcare environment Knowledge of medical terminology related to insurance financial clearance and billing Experience with Ohio insurance payers and obtaining prior authorizations Previous remote work experience is preferred
