Marquette Transportation Company Offshore, LLC is seeking experienced Offshore Tugboat Captains to join their team in Lockport, Louisiana. Captains will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of tugboats and their crews, ensuring compliance with company policies and maritime regulations. This is an exciting opportunity for maritime professionals with strong leadership skills and a commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will have a valid USCG license and experience in dredge support and anchor handling.

What You’ll Need

• Valid U.S. Coast Guard license, Master or Mate of Towing Near Coastal (minimum) or Oceans (preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience in dredge support work, anchor handling, and tow lining barges as Master of Towing coastwise
• Experience on the US East Coast & Gulf of Mexico
• Meet USCG physical examination requirements
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel to and from vessel/training locations via air or car
• Ability to climb steep stairs, sit or stand for long periods
• Maintain an active TWIC
