Join Our TeamSt Agnes Parish in Vermillion is seeking a full time Parish Office Manager. As the Parish Office Manager you will be responsible for all bookkeeping and payroll within St. Agnes Parish and St.
Agnes School, handle money, deposit money, enrollment and tracking of employee benefits, manage and reconcile bank accounts, and budget for fiscal years. The Office Manager coordinates and executes the various financial operations of the Parish and maintenance of records while working collaboratively with other parish staff to serve the needs of the parish.Job Duties:Bookkeeping, Payroll, and Pay bills for the Pastorate, Parish, and SchoolBe familiar and able to navigate several software programsSupervise weekly counting of weekend collection, closely adhering to proper accounting controls while continuing to evaluate processes for improvementOnboard new employees and coordinate continuing annual benefitsAssist the Pastor by identifying financial trends within the parish and bringing them to his attentionManage and maintain accurate financial records, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, CFSA, etc.Updates census records on a regular basisPost deposits for accounts that are managedCreate budgets for the upcoming fiscal yearPrepare and assist in leading monthly finance council meetings, prepare financial reports, take minutes, be involved in conversation among membersEssential Qualifications:Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statementsAn excellent understanding and working knowledge of all desktop applications included in the Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn various web applications.High attention to organization, detail, and accuracyA fully initiated Catholic who is passionate about living out the teachings of the Catholic Church.Education Post-Secondary Education Preferred, but not requiredExperience: 3 to 5 years experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and being in office settingsTo apply for this position, please submit your resume and cover letter to Danielle Hanson,
