Office ManagerThe Office Manager is responsible for a variety of duties supporting the Columbus, Dayton, and Cleveland offices. Working primarily at the Columbus office, you will have the ability to work independently on projects and work collaboratively to handle a wide variety of activities and handle confidential matters within the office. We believe that your passion for what we stand for — our values and purpose — is just as important as meeting every checkbox.What You'll DoMain point of contact and liaison between The Shipyard and the office building management for all Ohio office locations (Columbus, Dayton, and Cleveland)Coordinate deliveries, catering, and service needs at our Cleveland and Dayton offices, with the occasional need to travel to those officesManage the aesthetics of the officesLiaison between vendors (other than IT vendors), including but not limited to building contractors, janitorial services, and construction contractorsOrder supplies for the break room/kitchen and office supplies across Ohio officesSupport facilities planning for the officeSupport Account Management and Client Engagement teams with room setup, catering, and meeting logistics for client meetings across Ohio officesGo-to person for general office needs, ordering supplies, etc. across Ohio officesCoordinate office events, including but not limited to event planning and execution (agency all-hands meetings, holiday parties, summer company events, off-site meetings, external/client events) across Ohio officesCoordinate weekly office lunches during mandatory in-office daysPackage shipping and receivingOther duties, as assignedWhat You'll Bring3+ years minimum relevant experience as an Office ManagerPossess the ability to handle confidential informationTechnology savvy – able to easily learn new applicationsProficient in all Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent writing and communication skillsMust be a self-starter and able to work autonomouslyMust be proactive and able to look at the big picture of any situation that should ariseAdvertising agency experience is preferredValid driver's license (must be comfortable commuting to Dayton and Cleveland offices once a month; mileage will be reimbursed at the Business Mileage Rate set by the IRS)What You'll GetThe overall target range of base compensation for this role is $65,000 - $70,000.
