This opportunity entails serving as a key member of the Office Management Team. The ODO reports directly to the Office Leader and is responsible for driving operational success in the office.
What You’ll Do
- Oversees and provides coordination of operational processes in the office including but not limited to Office Finance, Office Delivery, Office Operations, Office Quality.
- Oversees and engages in components of these processes to monitor performance, such as project reviews and client audits as directed by the Office Leader.
- Ensures the office operating budget is established, updated and monitored to successfully meet or exceed all operational metrics.
- Responsible for driving accountability for the Sophisticated Contracting Approach, Sophisticated Delivery Approach and Sophisticated Approach to Cash for the office.
- Coordinates with Division Staff on operating budgets.
- Accountable for the office staffing plans and draft boards, coordinating as needed with hiring managers and the HR team.
- Manages Office Overhead.
- Responsible for office planning, leasing and improvements.
- May provide oversight to other office positions and roles such as Office Administration, Office Professional Development Manager, Office Onboarding Manager, University Champions, PAC Champions, ESOP Champions, and engagement committees.
- Carries out other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related degree and
- 10 years of relevant experience including 5 years of project and/or people management experience
- In lieu of education, 14 years of relevant experience
What We Prefer
- Master’s degree
- 20 years practical experience
Additional Responsibilities
In addition, the preferred candidate may also be responsible for the following:
- Supporting the Sophisticated Planning and Sophisticated Sales Approaches across the Office in collaboration with the Office Sales Manager and Office Leader
- Managing TOJ, Utilization and other performance metrics.
- Managing office renovations
- Participating in industry events, client audits and client engagement as needed
- Supporting and occasionally leading select pursuits especially Super and Ultra Mega pursuits as directed by the Office Leader

The approximate pay range for New York is $259,607.99 - $414,698.47. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position based on all selected locations within the state at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
