Office CoordinatorCorning Incorporated is seeking an Office Coordinator to support Technology and Division Engineering employees at the Hickory Manufacturing and Technology Center team at our Hickory, NC facility. In this role, you will serve as the operational hub for a fast-paced, high-visibility site — managing office space, coordinating executive support, and driving a professional and engaging workplace experience for employees, visitors, and leadership. This is a permanent, full-time position ideal for an organized, proactive professional who brings strong initiative and thrives in a dynamic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage office space governance including floor plans, seating assignments, occupancy tracking, and coordination of employee moves and workspace readiness activitiesOversee shared workspaces, common areas, office equipment, and facilities-related work orders to ensure a well-maintained and professional work environmentCoordinate executive, customer, and visitor visits, including logistics, catering, and onsite support; provide calendar management, domestic and international travel coordination, and expense reporting for the Director of Technology OperationsLead planning and execution of site-wide communication meetings, employee engagement events, and recognition programsSupport new employee and intern onboarding, including office preparation, welcome materials, and first-day logisticsServe as a primary liaison for site-wide communications, organizational announcements, and distribution list managementExperiences/Education - RequiredAssociate degree (AAS) in Business or equivalent work experience3+ years of project coordination or administrative experienceExperience managing office space planning, seating assignments, and occupancy trackingExperience coordinating executive-level calendars, domestic and international travel, and expense reportingDemonstrated ability to plan and execute large employee events or organization-wide meetingsProficiency with business productivity and technology tools; ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processesExperiences/Education - DesiredPrior experience supporting director or executive-level leaders in a large, matrixed organizationExperience within a manufacturing, technology, or corporate campus environmentFamiliarity with an enterprise expense management systemThis position does not support immigration sponsorship.
The range for this position is $62,786.00 - $86,332.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.Corning offers you the total package.
