Office ProfessionalAt the Tom James Company, an office professional supports our sales team members, store leaders, and key organizational leaders fulfilling our mission to be a global leader in the fashion industry. An office professional is a valued member of the Tom James support team.We currently have a part-time opening in our El Paso, TX office. Our position is for 14 hours per week at $18.50 per hour.

We offer a generous PTO plan, paid holidays, and a 401(k) plan.Regular onsite attendance is required.ResponsibilitiesReceiving & ShippingUnpacking received shipments dailyPrepping and steaming garments for delivery and placing on clothing inventory rack, filed by Sales ProfessionalPrepping and shipping out packages to clients and factoriesProcessing returns, remakes, and alterationsHelping clients when they come to the officeAlterationsEntering alteration instructions into the proprietary systemCommunication with outside contractor tailors, delivering/picking up garments as neededChecking in alteration tickets upon completionPreparing alteration report for corporate officeTelephones/E-Mail/MailAnswering incoming phone calls and relaying messages to appropriate Sales ProfessionalChecking store e-mail daily and forwarding information to relevant person(s)Making same day bank deposits and running errandsMaking follow-up calls to factories, customers, and corporate officePerforming other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google DocsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple projects and consistently meet deadlinesStrong organizational skillsAbility to bend and lift 30 lbs.Management of office suppliesCommunicating with building managementAbility to put together office monthly reportsAssist with preparing for biannual trunk show eventsValid driver's license is required (except in larger metropolitan areas where driving is not required)
