Position Overview
We are seeking an organized, reliable individual to provide dedicated support to our Director of Operations and keep our office running smoothly. This role balances light clerical duties, digital schedule coordination, HR file maintenance, and occasional local errands.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Support: Assist the Director of Operations with daily task management and administrative requests.
- Calendar Management: Maintain and coordinate the master office schedule using Google Calendar.
- HR Clerical Work: Set up physical or digital onboarding folders for new hires and perform light maintenance on current employee files.
- Run Errands: Drive locally for light office errands, such as picking up supplies, dropping off mail, or clearing the post office box.
- Office Organization: File, scan, and organize general documentation with high accuracy and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of verifiable clerical, administrative, or office assistant experience.
- Technical Skills: Experience managing schedules with Google Calendar and basic comfort with office technology.
- Licensing: Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for light local errands.
- Traits: Excellent organizational skills, discretion with sensitive employee files, and strong reliability.
- Bonus: Being a commissioned North Carolina Notary Public is a major plus, but not required.
