When you work in our warehouses, you'll play a vital part in helping people sleep well so they live well every day.Essential ResponsibilitiesSchedule deliveries according to capacity and business conditions.Record missed and/or re-delivery problems.Submit completed delivery manifests and stop records by deadline for contractor settlement purposes.Complete records for contractor settlement.Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date.Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all.Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation.Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations.Non-Essential ResponsibilitiesAnswer incoming calls promptly and accurately.Maintain accuracy of ticket management system.Print accurate pick lists.Execute company initiatives and other activities requested by supervisor.Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.Contribute ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company.Knowledge:Microsoft Office ProductsPOS systemBasic knowledge of city and outlying areasEducation:High School diploma or equivalent preferredProfessional Experience:1+ Years related experience requiredSkills List:Strong verbal and written communication skills.Able to complete tasks with strong attention to detail.Physical Demands:Warehouse EnvironmentSitting frequentlyStanding frequentlyTalking frequentlyHearing frequentlyLift or move up to 50 poundsUsage of hands and fingersReaching with hands and armsStooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling occasionallySight is required to ensure the safety of yourself and others.Benefits Included:Excellent career growth opportunities through on-the-job training and development programs401(k) with employer matchingMental health and life resourcesMedical, dental, prescription, and vision plansGet paid on-demandBase pay or uncapped commissionEmployee discounts on Mattress Firm sleep products and accessoriesCompensation:Competitive pay range of $20-$21.50 hourly.
