Off-Shift Systems TechnicianProvide first response service for all building/utilities trades equipment and systems such as emergency calls and service calls; assess situation; provide repairs or contact appropriate personnel if situation mandates licensed repairs. Perform preventative maintenance service for all building trades. Access information utilizing software programs. Promote a work place that encourages safety within the shop and in the field. Report to a Supervisor and operate University vehicle. May be required to operate an aerial lift. Actively engage in learning and practicing principles of social justice and inclusion, environmental sustainability and delivering great customer experience.High school diploma and three years of experience in trades required. Demonstrated ability to make independent judgments in assessing and planning work.
Experience using computers and mobile technology required. Valid driver's license or ability to obtain and drivers check required. Lifting to 54 lbs. occasionally. Specific physical requirements may apply based on job functions. Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing specific job functions.
