A law firm seeks an experienced Of Counsel for its Litigation group in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal writing skills, particularly in pharmaceutical and medical device Daubert/Rule 702 motions practice. This position offers a hybrid work environment.
Duties
- Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
- Communicate effectively with clients.
- Supervise associates and collaborate with experts.
- Assist with fact development and depositions.
- Help develop case strategy.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
- Extensive experience with Rule 702 and Daubert issues.
- Background in science (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) required.
- Experience in products liability litigation.
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is a plus.
Education
- JD from a nationally recognized school.
Certifications
- Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application.
- New York bar admission encouraged.
