A law firm seeks an experienced Of Counsel to join its Litigation group in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal writing skills, particularly in pharmaceutical and medical device Daubert/Rule 702 motions practice.
Duties
- Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
- Communicate effectively with clients.
- Supervise associates and collaborate with experts.
- Assist with fact development and depositions.
- Help develop case strategy.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
- Extensive experience with Rule 702 and Daubert issues.
- Experience in products liability litigation.
- Background in pharmaceutical and medical device industry is a plus.
Education
- JD with strong academic credentials from nationally recognized schools.
Certifications
- Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application; New York license encouraged.
