OCV Machine OperatorWe are seeking a diligent and skilled OCV Machine Operator to join our climate-controlled manufacturing facility.This Franklin, Indiana-based manufacturer specializes in producing high-quality material handling equipment for customers across North America.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!OCV Machine Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 21.75 / hourFull Time work availableSecond Shift (Monday through Friday from 03:00pm to 11:00pm)Operate OCV machinery safely and efficiently, strictly adhering to all standard operating procedures and trained work sequences.Perform thorough in-process quality inspections, utilizing precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify part dimensions against specifications.Conduct deburring operations on machined parts to meet required finish and quality standards.Proactively monitor machine performance and effectively communicate any needs for tool changes or machine adjustmentsStrictly comply with all company Environmental and Safety Commitments.Maintain a high level of alertness and focus to ensure operational safety and efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing setting.Demonstrate strong knowledge and application of the metric system in daily tasks.OCV Machine Operator Qualifications:Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand and be on your feet for an 8-hour shift.Requires good eye/hand coordination for detailed work.Proven experience and proficiency in using precision measuring tools including micrometers and calipers.Demonstrated experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or production environment.Foundational knowledge of CNC machining principles (e.g., machine operation, tooling, setup processes).Experience operating or familiarity with deburring machines.Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
