Oculoplastic Surgeon

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible ophthalmologist with ASOPRS fellowship training in oculoplastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery to join their Department of Ophthalmology. The incoming physician will join a seasoned and busy oculoplastic surgeon, performing functional and cosmetic procedures while participating in medical student and resident teaching. Practice Info

• Department of Ophthalmology includes 31 ophthalmologists and optometrists providing care in the New Orleans, North Shore, River Parishes, and Baton Rouge regions
• Comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for patients of all ages
• Participation in Ophthalmology residency training, Ochsner Optometry residency program, and Delgado Ophthalmic Technician Program
• Integrated health care delivery model with multi-specialty collaboration, large internal referral network, and EPIC medical record platform
• Physician-led organization

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and cosmetic surgery
• Participate in medical student and ophthalmology resident teaching responsibilities in the Department of Ophthalmology
• Engage in clinical research
