Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide thorough, holistic care
Educate Patients and Families: Share knowledge with patients and their families about therapy techniques to facilitate ongoing progress at home
Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary, guaranteeing patients remain on the right path
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Continuing education or additional certifications encouraged and supported
Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
