Start date is 09/30/2026, with no call required. North Carolina COTA License, BLS (AHA), and 2 years of experience are required. The position involves implementing occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist, providing skilled interventions focused on ADLs, functional mobility, strength, balance, and coordination. Therapy is delivered through individual or group sessions as appropriate. Documentation, patient and caregiver education, and reporting patient status changes to the therapy team are also part of the role. This Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant position offers 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday with no weekend rotation. Services are provided to short-term rehab and long-term care residents in a 150-bed skilled nursing facility located in a rural setting. Works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to improve patient independence, safety, and quality of life.
