We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our compassionate team at Heritage Village of Waterville. In this role, you will play a vital part in assisting patients with their rehabilitation goals, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality care in a supportive environment.
This position comes with a starting pay rate of $30 an hour
The typical schedule for this opportunity is Monday through Friday with flexible start and end times based on caseload. This opportunity is a PRN position but may require you to see clients at multiple communities in a dedicated area.

- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the occupational therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress notes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Experience in geriatrics or skilled nursing facilities preferred.
- Ability to develop and implement effective care plans for diverse patient populations.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
