Are you a recent Occupational Therapy Assistant graduate ready to put your education into practice? Solomon Page is hiring Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) for opportunities across a variety of Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout New York and Connecticut.


This is an exciting opportunity for new graduates looking to build their clinical skills, gain hands-on experience, and begin their careers working alongside experienced rehabilitation professionals in the skilled nursing setting.


Compensation

$21.19-$24.58/hour, based on experience and location

What You'll Do

  • Provide occupational therapy treatment under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
  • Help patients work toward greater independence with daily activities and functional skills
  • Carry out individualized therapy plans and monitor patient progress
  • Collaborate with OTs, PTs, SLPs, nursing, and other members of the care team
  • Educate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey
  • Develop valuable hands-on experience working in a skilled nursing environment

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Appropriate state OTA licensure or eligibility for the state in which you will work
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for rehabilitation and helping patients improve their independence
  • New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply!
