Job Responsibilities
- Design Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's needs to create tailored therapy strategies aimed at helping them meet their functional objectives

- Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive whole-person care
- Educate Patients and Caregivers: Teach patients and their families about therapeutic methods to encourage ongoing improvements at home
- Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical results and adapt treatment plans when necessary to ensure patients remain on track
Education and Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications encouraged and fully supported
Certifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential
