Occupational Therapist School Setting - Saint Peters, MO

This contract position provides crucial coverage for a 12-week FMLA leave, serving the Normandy schools, with the possibility of extension if needed. Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active Occupational Therapist license in Missouri required
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric caseloads preferred
• Ability to manage diverse student needs across multiple campuses
• Thorough understanding of IEPs, documentation, and educational best practices
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and families
• Must complete district-required fingerprinting and technological compliance

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect OT services to assigned students in accordance with IEP goals
• Assess students and develop individualized plans geared to maximize functional independence
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
• Contribute to evaluation and eligibility meetings as needed
• Maintain timely, compliant documentation per school and federal guidelines
