Occupational Therapist School Setting - Renton, WA

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Washington State certification and Educational Staff Associate (ESA) credential
• Currently residing in the United States with completed fingerprinting/background checks
• At least one year of direct, school-based Occupational Therapy experience
• Comfortable and enthusiastic about working in person
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, adaptable to working across different school locations

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy evaluation and intervention services to students ages 3 to 22 across multiple school sites
• Participate in four paid orientation days in mid to late August prior to the start of the school year
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including teachers, administrators, and support staff
• Develop individualized treatment plans to foster independence and support educational participation
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and communication with families and colleagues
• Provide training and consultation to staff and families regarding adaptive strategies and equipment
