Job Description

Are you an Occupational Therapist looking to build a rewarding career in a specialized outpatient setting? At The Hale Hand Center , you'll join a highly respected team dedicated to helping patients regain function and improve their quality of life through expert hand and upper extremity rehabilitation.

What You'll Do:

As an Occupational Therapist , you'll play an essential role in helping patients achieve their functional goals by:

  Evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans

  Fabricating and fitting custom splints based on patient diagnoses

  n

• n

  Providing evidence-based interventions to improve upper extremity function and independence in daily activities

  n

• n

  Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed

  n
n
• n

  Maintaining accurate and timely documentation

  n
n
• n

  Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional patient care

  n
n
• n

  Educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and equipment

  n
n
• n

  Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

  n
n

Qualifications

n
• n

  Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program

  n
n
• n

  Current state of Florida license

  n
n
• n

  CPR certification

  n
n
• n

  Outgoing, compassionate, and patient-focused personality

  n
n
• n

  A strong desire to learn and grow in a specialty practice
