n Occupational Therapist to work in the inpatient rehabilitation setting.
n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n Responsibilities:
n The occupational therapist must be able to effectively complete comprehensive evaluations, establish
n treatment plans of care, and provide appropriate occupational therapy treatments to patients with a variety
n of neurological diagnosis and impairments. The focus of occupational therapy in inpatient rehabilitation is
n to maximize each patient's recovery and level of functional ability including but not limited to: neuromuscular
n recovery (through neurorehabilitation), functional mobility skills improvement, activities of daily living skills and
n independent activities of daily living skills improvement, cognitive skills improvement and proper use of
n adaptive equipment as needed.n n n n
n This position also requires effective communication skills to provide continuity of care between therapists and
n treatment sessions, to educate, and train caregivers, and to provide an interdisciplinary team approach to each
n patient's care.

Qualifications:
- Must be an Occupational Therapist with a current Louisiana license.
- Master's Degree
- One year or more experience
