Job Responsibilities:
- Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and devise tailored therapy strategies that help them achieve their rehabilitation goals
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to promote improvement in patients' motor function, cognitive skills, and daily activities
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic care
- Educate Patients and Families: Provide patients and their caregivers with insightful knowledge about therapeutic methods to ensure ongoing success at home
- Assess and Document Progress: Keep track of clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients are on the right track
Qualifications:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Encouragement for continuing education or post-graduate certifications
Licenses:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential
