Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess the needs of patients and create individualized therapy strategies to help them achieve their overall functional aspirations

Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Use evidence-based methods to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living activities

Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Partner with other OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic care

Guide Patients and Families: Educate both patients and their caregivers on therapy methodologies to ensure continual progress at home

Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to maintain patient momentum

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

Continuing education or post-graduate qualifications encouraged and supported

Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required

A passion for helping others, coupled with a genuine drive to support individuals in achieving their utmost independence

Excellent empathetic communication skills with both patients and fellow team members

Creative thinking ability to adapt plans to cater to a range of patient needs
