Develop Customized Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create tailored therapy strategies that help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Implement Clinical Techniques: Use evidence-based approaches to foster improvements in patients' physical abilities, cognitive functions, and daily tasks.
Collaborate with an Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Provide Education and Support: Teach patients and their families therapy methods that facilitate progress outside the clinical setting.
Track Patient Progress: Monitor and document rehabilitation outcomes, making adjustments to treatment plans as required for continued success.
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Continuous education and additional certifications supported and encouraged.
Active OTR/L license.
Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is mandatory.
