Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and design individualized therapy strategies to help them achieve their personal goals.
Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to support improved patient skills in motor functions, cognition, and everyday living.
Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, integrated care.
Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and their caregivers concerning therapeutic strategies to encourage ongoing progress and independence.
Track and Evaluate Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes continuously and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track.
A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
Continuing education and postgraduate certifications are encouraged and supported.
A current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
