Job Responsibilities
- Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patients' requirements and design personalized therapy strategies to assist them in achieving their functional aspirations.
- Implement Therapeutic Procedures: Employ evidence-based techniques to promote the enhancement of patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and essential daily activities.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in close partnership with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, holistic care.
- Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families on therapeutic practices to nurture ongoing advancements at home.
- Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on their path toward recovery.
Education Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Continuing education or postgraduate certifications are encouraged and supported.
Licensure Requirements
- Current and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required.
