Help Students Thrive in the Classroom and Beyond

We're hiring Occupational Therapists (OTs) for school-based opportunities in multiple locations. They evaluate physical, sensory, and cognitive barriers and provide interventions like environmental modifications or specialized equipment to help students meet their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. This is a great opportunity for OTs who enjoy collaborating with educators and supporting students through meaningful, goal-driven interventions.

  • Support students in meeting IEP goals through targeted OT services
  • Recommend classroom strategies, environmental modifications, and adaptive equipment
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with school-based service requirements
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OT program (Master's or Doctorate)
  • Completion of required fieldwork/clinical rotations (typically 24 weeks)
  • NBCOT certification and active OTR status
  • Active state OT license (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to pass required school background screening
State Credential Requirements (Varies by Location)
  • Colorado (CO): DORA (Board of OT); To work in schools, you must also obtain a Special Services Provider (SSP) license from the Colorado Dept. of Education.
  • New Mexico (NM): NM Board of OT Requires a state license plus a Support Provider License from the NM Public Education Department.
