Requirements

• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist - Required
• Proof of current CPR certification - Required
• Current driver's license - Required
• Reliable transportation and insurance - Required
• Two years experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting - Required
• Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessments to identify patient needs and appropriateness of patient care.
• Document and update Plans of Care, progress notes, and clinical records.
• Facilitate therapeutic interventions related to patient mobility and activities of daily living.
• Evaluate patient performance in self-care, work, leisure, and rest activities.
• Implement infection control measures and cooperate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain and organize patient records and communicate pertinent information with caregivers.
