Job Description
This unique hybrid Occupational Therapist (OTR) position offers the opportunity to primarily provide school-based occupational therapy services during the academic year while also maintaining and expanding clinical skills through occasional coverage in the acute care hospital setting.

The Branson Therapy Department is a smaller inpatient and outpatient team where staff longevity is strong, allowing you to learn from experienced colleagues. Additional Information About the Position for Qualified Candidates
- Up to $10,000 Sign‑On Bonus

This position will primarily support fulfillment of our school‑based therapy.
Job Summary
An Occupational Therapist assists patients with minimizing disability and developing skills and attitudes to increase independent functioning in an inpatient setting. Patients are referred for medical and educational services as indicated. The therapist is responsible for planning and implementing prevention, habilitation, or rehabilitation services, including counseling and orientation, that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. The therapist also communicates care to the patient care team regarding treatment, equipment, discharge, and next level of care.
Job Requirements
Education
- Required: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Preferred: Masters or Doctorate from an accredited program of Occupational Therapy
Experience
- None prior experience required
Skills
- Good clinical expertise, communication skills, human relations skills, and organizational skills required.
- Self‑motivated individual who can work independently with little direct supervision.
- Demonstrated interest in professional growth through attendance at continuing education workshops and application of new principles and/or techniques.
Licensure / Certification / Registration
- Required: Active Missouri licensure for Occupational Therapy (limited permits not accepted)
