At BrightStar Care of Austin, we believe exceptional care starts with exceptional people. We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients right in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional independence in daily living activities
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting plans of care as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home safety strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Current, valid Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license — *required*
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience preferred; home health experience a plus
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
