Location: Cumming, GA 30041
Contract Dates: September 28, 2026 – January 16, 2027
Duration: 13 weeks
Candidates: Open to Local & Travel Candidates
Schedule
- Schedule varies; typical hours are 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Occupational Therapy experience in the specialty
- AHA BLS required
- Active Georgia OT license
- NBCOT certification required
- Recent acute care experience preferred
Position Overview
The Occupational Therapist will work within the Cerner Acute Care OT Department , providing occupational therapy services to acute care patients throughout the hospital.
Responsibilities include supporting patients from physician orders through the continuum of acute care , with exposure to a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including:
- ICU patients
- Stroke and neurological conditions
- Orthopedic patients
- General debility
- Other acute medical and surgical diagnoses
Holiday Requirements
Northside Holiday Expectations:
Candidates must work 2 of the 3 major holidays:
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- New Year's Day
AND 1 minor holiday:
- Friday after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- New Year's Eve
