Shift Details:

Occupational Therapist – Job Descriptio n

n
• n

  Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on functional needs.

  n
n
• n

  Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, daily living skills, and overall functional independence.

  n
n
• n

  Monitor and document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate clinical records.

  n
n
• n

  Educate patients on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and strategies to support safe and independent functioning.

• n

  Collaborate with the healthcare team and correctional staff to coordinate patient care while maintaining confidentiality and complying with facility security protocols.

• n

  Follow all applicable clinical, safety, and correctional facility policies and perform other duties within the scope of practice.

**Minimum Qualifications **

n
• n

  Current, valid, and unrestrictedVAlicense/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  n
n
• n

  Minimum of 1+ year within the last 3 years of recent experience as an OT

  n
n
• n

  Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  n

• n

  Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,).

n
