UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region's only EMCO program and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities:
The Occupational Therapist shall be responsible for providing a full range of age appropriate
occupational therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic
interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications,
provisional practices and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an approved school.
Six (6) months experience in an acute, rehabilitation of outpatient setting.
Current professional licensure in the state of Texas.
Preferred Job Requirements
Membership in American Occupational therapy Association (OATA) and Texas Occupational Therapy Association (TOTS).
