Position Summary

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide therapeutic interventions focused on ADLs, fine motor skills, coordination, strength, and functional mobility
- Observe and report patient responses, progress, and changes in condition to the supervising OT
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic activities, safety techniques, and use of adaptive equipment
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated patient care
- Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations, including HIPAA
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Occupational Therapist Assistant license in good standing (state-specific)
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or home health preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)
