Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois State Occupational Therapist license or certification.

• Experience working with students in school settings.

• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with school staff and families.

• Knowledge of sensory integration and motor development techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ fine and gross motor skills and develop tailored therapy plans.

• Implement interventions to enhance students’ motor, sensory, and self-care skills.

• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.

• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly.

• Communicate regularly with families and school staff regarding student development.
