Medical Director of Occupational Health & Urgent Care Opening in Findlay, Northwest Ohio - Toledo 45m The Opportunity: Seeking a physician to serve as Medical Director of Occupational Health & Urgent Care in Findlay, Northwest Ohio. Opportunity Overview: 80% Clinical Practice / 20% Administrative Leadership 50% Urgent Care (Physicians Plus) 30% Occupational Health (Well at Work) 20% Medical Director responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities (80%): Provide urgent care services for acute illnesses and injuries Deliver occupational medicine services, including: Work-related injury care Occupational physicals Return-to-work evaluations Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification preferred; willingness to obtain certification required Medical Director Responsibilities (20%): Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and protocols Oversee quality initiatives and OPPE processes Collaborate with and support Advanced Practice Providers Train and onboard new providers Partner with operational leaders to advance service line goals Compensation: $300,000 base salary (includes vacation and CME) $100,000 signing bonus ($50,000 in Year 1 and $50,000 in Year 2) $10,000 relocation assistance 200 hours paid time off/CME (5 weeks) $5,000 annual CME and board certification allowance 403(b) retirement plan with 4% employer match beginning Year 2 Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and malpractice coverage Location: Findlay, OH is a top-ranked community for families offering: Excellent schools and short commute times Housing costs approximately 22% below the national average Easy access to Toledo, Columbus, Cleveland, and Detroit
