Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN to join their established team at Sanford Watertown Clinic. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care within a multispecialty clinic setting, supported by a laborist model for deliveries and dedicated surgical time. Practice Info
- Multispecialty Clinic includes Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, General Surgery, APP's, Occ Med, and Physical Therapy
- 3 FT Sonographers, with extensive OB/MFM training - all OB U/S read by MFM's
- No Robotic on-site
- The clinic is connected to the medical center, with a fully staffed ER
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit (if applicable to the setting), evaluate, diagnose, consult and provide pre-, intra- and postoperative care necessary to correct or treat female patients of all ages presenting with injuries and disorders of the female reproductive system and the genitourinary system
- Provide nonsurgical treatment for disorders and injuries of the mammary glands

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
- Experience can be demonstrated by providing residency procedure log and a list of completed rotations (for recent graduates)
- Experience can be demonstrated by providing a quality profile from hospital(s) where privileges are held, showing clinical activity for the last 12 months (for those not applying directly out of residency)
- Must be able to demonstrate competence and adequate volumes of experience to include 50 deliveries (including 5 cesarean sections) and 25 gynecological surgical procedures in the last 12 months (if applicable to privileges requested)
