Obstetrics Gynecologist

CompHealth is seeking an OB/GYN physician for an ongoing coverage opportunity. This role involves managing both routine and complicated deliveries, performing OB ultrasounds, and handling various surgical GYN procedures. The position offers weekly pay, complimentary housing and travel, and comprehensive malpractice coverage, with CompHealth managing all credentialing and logistics.

Practice Info

• Inpatient OB/GYN department setting
• Focus on low-risk pregnancy, including routine and complicated deliveries
• Average 3 patients per shift, with 4 phone consults, 2 seen, and 2 admissions per 24 hours

Responsibilities

• Provide call coverage with a beeper, requiring a 30-minute response time
• Perform OB ultrasounds, including Level I/screening for viability
• Conduct C-sections, VBAC, breech, and forceps deliveries
• Perform surgical GYN procedures, including open and laparoscopic procedures

Compensation

• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
