CompHealth is seeking an OB Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment, offering a unique opportunity to leverage their extensive network to find the perfect fit. This role involves working 12-hour shifts, both days and nights, within a labor and delivery unit. The position requires expertise in high and low-risk obstetrics, c-sections, VBACs, and surgical gynecology.
Practice Info
- In-house OB hospitalist role at a labor and delivery unit
- Laborist back-up and perinatology support available
- 5 - 10 patients per shift
Compensation
- $150 - $225 hourly
- We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
- Rates shown are all-inclusive and combine an hourly base pay with other potential earnings like overtime, call, and holiday pay

- 12-hour shifts -- days 7 am - 7 pm or nights 7 pm - 7 am
- 12 shifts per month
Requirements
- Must be willing to work both days and nights
- High and low-risk OB, c-section, VBAC, and surgical gyn required
- OB ultrasound performance and interpretation required -- Levels I and II
- Amniocentesis and repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations required
