CompHealth is seeking an OB/GYN to join an inpatient practice, offering a streamlined locums process. This role involves managing a diverse patient load, including full-scope OB/GYN care with a focus on deliveries and surgical GYN procedures. CompHealth handles all logistical details, allowing providers to focus on patient care.

Practice Info

  • Inpatient practice setting
  • Most deliveries performed by midwives
  • Approx. 80 - 90 deliveries per month

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-scope OB/GYN care, including clinic, call, or both
  • Perform C-sections, VBACs, breech deliveries, and complicated deliveries
  • Execute surgical GYN procedures, including open and operative/major procedures

Compensation

  • We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly

Shift & Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 10-hour workdays
  • May include weekend call
  • 18 - 24 patients per shift
  • Average census 10 - 15 patients

Requirements

  • C-section, VBAC, breech, and complicated delivery skills required
  • Surgical GYN required (open and operative/major procedures)
