Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN physician to join their established team at Marshfield Medical Center - Eau Claire in Wisconsin. This opportunity involves caring for diverse patient communities across the western region, including Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, and Ladysmith. The role offers a collegial environment within a well-established practice and a robust Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) practice, fostering a collaborative approach to patient care.

  • Clinic averages 10-15 patients per day

Responsibilities

  • Perform history and physical examination
  • Admit, evaluate, diagnose, consult and provide pre-, intra- and postoperative care necessary to correct or treat female patients of all ages presenting with injuries and disorders of the female reproductive system and the genitourinary system
  • Provide nonsurgical treatment for disorders and injuries of the mammary glands
  • Be involved in medical education and research

Shift & Schedule

  • Clinic Schedule: Mon-Friday 8am - 5pm

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Successful completion of an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
  • Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
  • If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
  • If just completed residency, provide residency procedure log and a list of completed rotations
  • If not applying directly out of residency, provide a quality profile from hospital(s) where currently has privileges showing clinical activity for the last 12 months, including numbers of procedures morbidity, mortality, infection rates and other complications
  • Demonstrate competence and adequate volumes of experience to include 50 deliveries (including 5 cesarean sections) and 25 gynecological surgical procedures (if applicable to privileges requested) in the last 12 months
