What You ll Do

• Provide inpatient labor and delivery care in a hospital setting
• Manage labor floor activities, including inductions and cesarean sections
• Respond to gynecological emergencies presenting through the Emergency Department
• Provide inpatient gynecological consultations
• Document patient care using Cerner/Oracle EMR system
• Support hospital-level women's health services until a permanent provider is recruited
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

What You Need
Required:

• Medical license in New Jersey
• Experience managing labor and delivery patients
• Skills in labor management, inductions, cesarean procedures, and gynecological emergency care

Preferred:

• Prior hospital-based OB/GYN experience
• Ability to independently manage inpatient obstetrical cases

About the Assignment
This locum opportunity offers an ideal working environment for an OB/GYN physician seeking a hospital-based, laborist-style role focused on inpatient care. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center, specializing exclusively in labor and delivery services, with an average daily census of 1 to 9 laboring patients. You will perform cesarean sections, oversee inductions, and handle gynecological emergencies, providing vital support during a staffing transition period.
