Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician

Jackson and Coker is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician for a locums opportunity in Idaho, providing call-only coverage starting ASAP and continuing monthly through December. This role involves managing the clinical needs of patients, including those seen by FM residents, within a Level 2 Trauma facility with a Level III NICU. The position is crucial for supporting patient care services due to limited coverage from the current OB/GYN group.

• MFM resources and services available through the on-campus clinic

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical needs of patients who may be seen by FM residents
• Perform low-risk and high-risk pregnancy management
• Conduct FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
• Perform OB ultrasound performance and interpretation (Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted)
• Perform amniocentesis
• Conduct routine and vaginal deliveries, including low forceps delivery and decision-making for C-section
• Manage complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech deliveries, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
• Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations

• September 10 (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• September 14 (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• September 18–20 (24-hour shifts)
• September 22 (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• September 23 (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Additional dates needed monthly through December beginning in September

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Idaho license or IMLC required
• Fellowship preferred
