Assignment Details
• Location: Hartsville, South Carolina
• Start Date: October 2026
• End Date: Ongoing; coverage is currently needed throughout the remainder of 2026
• Schedule:
- Monday ÄìThursday, 8:30 AM Äì5:00 PM - Friday, 8:30 AM Äì12:00 PM
• Coverage: Clinic hours with 24-hour beeper call
• Call Response Time: 10 minutes
• Setting: Outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital
• EMR: Athena and Meditech
• Credentialing: Approximately 30 days
• Temporary Privileges: Available
• Hospital Privileges: Required
Requirements
• Board-certified OB/GYN
• Active South Carolina medical license
• Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Ability to provide simultaneous clinic and hospital coverage
• Ability to manage emergency gynecological consultations and surgeries
• Local or drive-in availability strongly preferred
Preferred Clinical Skills
• Low- and high-risk pregnancy management
• Fetal heart-rate interpretation
• OB ultrasound performance and interpretation
• Routine and complicated deliveries
• Vaginal, operative, breech, multiple, and cesarean deliveries
• Management of abruptions and VBACs
• Repair of third- and fourth-degree lacerations
• Office and minor gynecology
• Open and laparoscopic gynecological surgery
Clinical Details
• Approximately 15 Äì25 clinic patients per day
• Approximately two deliveries per day
• Approximately 540 deliveries annually
• Ultrasound available in the clinic
• 116-bed hospital
• Level II nursery
• Infants weighing less than 1,500 grams are transferred to a higher level of care
• Emergency GYN surgery and ED consultation coverage required
• No APP supervision or teaching responsibilities
