Physician (MD) - Obstetrics and Gynecology - Laborist
Job Details:
- Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology laborist services with 5 patient encounters per shift
- Manage both low and high risk pregnancies with full delivery services
- Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
- Conduct OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic) with performance and interpretation capabilities
- Perform amniocentesis procedures
- Handle routine deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and decision-making for c-sections
- Manage complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
- Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
- Provide office and minor gynecology services including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
- Provide surgical gynecology services including open procedures, laparoscopic diagnostic and minor procedures (tubal ligation, LOA's, chromotubation), and operative/major procedures (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's)
- Laser certification required
- Must hold an active South Carolina medical license
- Board certification required with BLS certification
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days with expedite options available
